About Khaldera
Born from the glowing ashes of countless hours of improvisation, Khaldera's music reflects spontaneous creation. Something outside rational thought processes is poured into songs, making the moments of spontaneity somewhat re-experiencable.
Hailing from somewhere between the hills of the Swiss Midlands, Khaldera self-released their debut EP "Relief" (mixed by Aaron Harris and mastered by Chris Common) in 2013, before releasing their follow-up EP "Alteration" in 2016 under the label Czar of Crickets.
As a primarily instrumental band, Khaldera creates a unique atmosphere through the interplay of carefully crafted sound constructs of guitars, instinctive drumming, and solid work on the fretless bass. Hypnotic, fateful, and transcendental passages swell into a cathartic destruction, like a gentle stream that swells into a mighty current.
