The 16-CD box set "Blackbox" with a total running time of over 16 hours contains well over 350 songs, nearly all of which are previously unreleased. It serves as the tachograph of a life that lasted only 46 years (1950-96), but with this release looks back on a total of around 40 albums. The first CD of the box features RIO REISER's very first songs, written in English at the age of 14-15, and his first German-language songs from 1967/69. The last CD of the box includes almost 20 previously unreleased songs from the 1980s and 90s. In between, all his projects for theater and film are documented, for which there are audio recordings.
