THE STATIC AGE release demos and go on tour

The US post-punk cult band The Static Age is releasing two demo versions and announcing a new album for 2016. "These Days" and "City" were already released on the album "Mercies" from 2012 via Uncle M, but the Chicago-based post-punk band is now providing alternative versions for free download. The first track "was recorded in Hunter/New York by Will Noon (Straylight Run) in 2007 or 2008," says singer Andrew Paley, who was recently seen solo opening for garrett Klahn or Northcote. The second song "City" was also created during that same period. A new album is expected to be released later this year. The band will also stop in Germany for five shows in July during an extensive tour.
