Ozzy, bassist of the German thrash metal band Holy Moses, was unexpectedly admitted to a psychiatric clinic on August 23. It is still uncertain how long he will have to stay there. The band definitely wants to keep his spot open until then. However, they did not want to cancel the upcoming concerts. Therefore, at the first signs of Ozzy's illness, they had already recorded Maurer (ex-Warpath, ex-Temple Of The Absurd) as a backup just in case. However, he had to inform them at short notice that he could not take on the role of substitute bassist, as he decided to accept a regular job he had been waiting for during months of unemployment.
In a hurry, they then called more than 10 bassists, all of whom would have gladly taken the job on short notice, but were themselves prevented due to their own gigs with their bands, family reasons, illness, or vacation. For the first concerts, the bass had to come from the computer. The necessary equipment was purchased at short notice, and Michi, the guitarist, played the bass tracks into the computer, while Asgard programmed the click track. However, the next concerts are supposed to take place with a flesh-and-blood substitute.
