SDP - Zurück in die Zukunst (release date 22.5.2015)
The world is changing. We are in the star year 2.o15,5, more than a year after the takeover of power and the founding of the "Bunte Rapublik Deutschpunk".
The universe, our universe, is on the brink of total destruction!
At the beginning of the 21st century, it becomes clear that humanity will not easily rid itself of the spirits it has called: natural disasters, the internet, sex, violence, and monosodium glutamate threaten to destroy the universe!
At the forefront of the last resistance of humanity, your heroes from SDP have unasked taken their place and forged an album that is more than just an album:
It is a weapon! A weapon created to free music from all genre constraints, to save the diversity of music - and thus the entire universe - from a senselessly painful demise!
Hardened by a bombastic and successful live year on the biggest festival stages of the republic and after a sold-out tour in 2014, perfectly crowned by the great party congress in the Berlin Columbiahalle, Vincent and Dag have taken up the studio battle and created their seventh album:
SDP - Zurück in die Zukunst
The most famous unknown band in the world is back! Stylish, genre-free, and creatively anarchistic! The pop rebels have fought for their own place in the German music landscape over many years, and somewhere between art, kitsch, and exaggeration, the two exceptional songwriters still manage to extract a smile and a middle finger from life in their songs. SDP is cult.
