The socially and politically engaged music label UNCLE M from Münster is celebrating its third birthday. Appropriately at Skaters Palace, where the label's office is located. In the same place, the label's first birthday parties have already taken place in previous years and were always a roaring, sold-out celebration with 400 visitors, which is set to be topped once again with this new edition: Uncle M Fest 2015 promises to be an international reunion of the best punk/hardcore bands in the world!
On April 30, 2015, the Münster label wants to take the opportunity to present some of its international "up-and-coming" bands together on one stage. For almost all of the performing bands, the Münster-based label or its German PR agency is active - there is a familial spark that will effortlessly jump to the audience and involve them. Even more: As is typical of Uncle M, important social and political issues beyond music will also play a role.
A total of 7 punk rock and hardcore bands as well as solo artists will perform and provide over 6 hours of breathless punk rock action. In addition to the bands, an extensive vegan food offering, a label flea market, and many other information booths will round off the evening. In a special marketplace area in Skaters Palace, for example, over 20 local fair trade brands, friendly labels, and local NGOs will present themselves. Additionally, various non-music actions involving various refugee and animal rights organizations will take place.
Tickets are available in the Uncle M shop. As always, we offer popular (screen-printed!) collector's hard tickets as well as slightly cheaper print-at-home e-tickets.
