"That’s not my name" is repeated by singer Katie White in the song of the same name, making it clear how one should not address her. That was a striking statement, that was a hit, that was in 2009. Now, The Ting Tings are making a strong comeback in October (release date: 24.10.14) with the album "Super Critical".
The first single is titled "Wrong Club". Even though Katie White complains in the chorus that she should be freed from the wrong nightclub, the accompanying music sounds like it’s actually just right. The punchy funk guitar is the perfect foundation for the laid-back pop song that leans towards the dancefloor. This sets a first exclamation mark.
In line with the album release, there are two live dates:
The Ting Tings
17.11. Cologne - Gebäude 2
18.11. Berlin - Bi Nuu
