Due to the murder of a 25-year-old punk, the regional court of Frankfurt (Oder) sentenced a 29-year-old to twelve years, his 21-year-old brother to seven years in prison, and a 20-year-old to eight years of youth detention.
The three perpetrators had cruelly tortured their victim to death, said prosecutor Christoph Schüler before the regional court of Frankfurt (Oder).
"It looks like there was an intention to eliminate a person by any means necessary," Schüler said. The trio belongs to the far-right scene and has multiple relevant prior convictions. However, the act was not motivated by right-wing extremism, the prosecutor stated. The defendants actually intended to rob a man who was supposed to have harassed the girlfriend of the 21-year-old. Equipped with throwing knives, they instead found their sleeping victim. According to the court, the three neo-Nazis initially tortured their victim for hours before ultimately killing him.
