Dirty Loops: YouTube Wonder Becomes Superband, Album Release: 05.16.14

15 million views on YouTube is quite an achievement, especially without cute kittens or makeup tips. The three music school buddies Jonah Nilsson, Henrik Linder, and Aron Mellergardh from Stockholm have done it, much to their own surprise. It all started with a breathtaking jazz-funk cover of Lady Gaga's "Just Dance." The fun video alone garnered over 100,000 views in the first two months and was shared more than 10,000 times on Facebook. The Dirty Loops, as they call themselves, followed up with equally crazy covers of Justin Bieber, Adele, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and Rihanna songs.

With these three extremely skilled musicians, pop hooks meet dizzying rhythm breaks, chord changes, and arrangement tricks. If you love your music fat and funky, you can get high on the Dirty Loops in a completely legal way. Now they have released their first self-written song "Hit Me" as a video, a taste of their debut album "Loopified" set to be released on 05.16. They even shot into the Japanese Top Ten - all without an official single release. Another phenomenon from the phenomenal Swedes. Stay tuned!
