With "Nostalgie Für Die Zukunft" (RYL NKR Recordings / Rough Trade), ERIK COHEN released his highly acclaimed debut album at the end of January entirely on his own, bringing a refreshing breeze to the German rock scene.
The news in three points:
1) With "Treue Herzen", ERIK COHEN presents a brand new video. The song moves casually and uniquely somewhere between Iggy Pop ("The Passenger"), Soft Cell ("Tainted Love") and exudes a visual charm that definitely brings to mind entertainers like Harald Juhnke or Tom Waits.
The "Treue Herzen" music video is now available at the following link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0Nw1hcdhJ0
2) The limited 180g blue vinyl version is almost sold out, so a reissue on white vinyl will be released. The official release date for the limited second edition, which is again limited to 500 copies, is May 16th. The album is exclusively available with a digital MP3 copy at http://eu.kingsroadmerch.com/erik-cohen/.
3) The song and album will soon be brought back to the stage, with the freshly confirmed live dates as follows:
