BOYSETSFIRE Re-Issue Vinyl Premiere: The 2006 gem „Misery Index: Notes From The Plague Years“ will be released for the first time and exclusively (!) on vinyl on 14.03.2014 via End Hits Records.
The title of the fourth BOYSETSFIRE album „Misery Index: Notes From The Plague Years“ could not be more programmatic. A musically and lyrically tumultuous and schizophrenic album reflects a distressing misery that brought existential fears for an established band. Plagued by misfortune, visited by the plague, after the debacle and the boundary experiences with the major label Wind Up. In 2006, the hardcore band from Newark, Delaware was given the chance: Everything to start over, everything to restart!
„Misery Index“ is a 13-song bundle of energy from one of the pioneers of melancholic hardcore, which organically and seamlessly connects to their own melodic hardcore blueprint „After The Eulogy“. That a true feat took place behind the scenes and that all those involved pulled themselves out of the swamp by their own hair is not evident in BOYSETSFIRE's sound. Fortunately! End Hits Records will release this liberating work for the first time on 180g heavy golden and blue vinyl with extensive liner notes, limited to 1000 copies, on 14.03.2014.
