Vincent and Dag have thought about why there are still fans of other bands who refuse to listen to SDP in light of their upcoming album. The answer is so simple: they have never made a song for the fans of other bands! From this humanistic thought, the two Berliners are now firing directly into the ranks of the enemies: The "Song for the Fans of Other Bands" is exactly that: A song for the fans of other bands! In doing so, SDP does not stoop to catering to the mainstream, but instead mixes disgusting earworm German punk with dubby dancehall sound, placing them far ahead of the current avant-garde! The song sets the direction: SDP remains true to themselves and reinvents themselves from song to song! The "Bunte Rapublik Deutschpunk" is not only the new album of the two music anarchists but also the country from which Vincent and Dag come! The first coup that is simultaneously a musical album! The German Jasmine Revolution begins in the ear!
The colorful video for the song is irrefutable proof that SDP has something to offer not only for the fans of other bands but that Vincent and Dag have also heated things up for their own fans this year! The band has celebrated with their indestructible fans on their completely sold-out tour and their legendary festival appearances! But in 2014, the SDP live rocket will soar to unimaginable heights! In March 2014, Vincent, Dag, and their magnificent live band will once again get into the state carriage to entertain the newly founded Republic of Total Music Anarchy! The second tour of probably the best live act in the world will be better, more colorful, and bigger! But what does tour mean here?! After all, two absolute rulers are honoring us and are on a state visit in all the important cities of their realm! Flags, fanfares, confetti cannon thunder, the full program!
In the band's tenth year, it becomes clear that Vincent and Dag are just getting started and stand like an extremely colorful rock in the surf of the music industry. They have created their own sound - yet no song on the new album is like the other! Unique! The lyrics are clever and multi-layered, repeatedly showing that SDP has a very own perspective on the world. Having become known as a multi-creative studio band and internet heroes, they earned a reputation last year as a top-notch live band with the highest entertainment factor! The party continues in 2014! Vincent and Dag Live! With band! With effects! New songs and the best tracks from all the beautiful years with SDP! Bigger, better, longer, louder, and more colorful than ever before!
