Wiener Neustadt's Astpai return with three new songs after the 2012 release of the album “Efforts And Means.” The 7” EP on white vinyl titled “Crohnicles” addresses the illness Crohn's disease, which was diagnosed in their singer Manfred Herzog seven years ago. In his opinion, working on these songs is the healthiest way to cope with and live with the disease. He received strong support in this endeavor (besides his bandmates) from Trevor Reilly and Mike Supina of A Wilhelm Scream. The recordings for these songs took place in Trevor's studio in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Mike Supina also enhances “Just Ask” with a guitar solo. The result was mastered by none other than Stephen Egerton (Descendents). Astpai are currently on a two-week tour of Eastern Europe and will support The Flatliners (Fat Wreck Chords) on their European tour in November.
