4-hour BEE GEES documentary on VOX becomes a ratings winner

When the TV channel VOX aired the four-hour documentary Stayin‘ Alive about the life and work of the BEE GEES last Saturday, 1.55 million viewers were transported into the world of one of the most successful pop bands of all time. With a viewer share of a solid 10.6 percent among 14 to 59-year-olds, Stayin‘ Alive – 50 Years of BEE GEES became the second most successful four-hour documentary on VOX on Saturday night, following ?Thank You For The Music – 40 Years of Abba“.

But the BEE GEES are not only definitely back in the spotlight on television! After the documentary aired, the large 4 CD retrospective MYTHOLOGY - 50 Years of BEE GEES shot up to number 1 on the Amazon Charts, where it has remained unchallenged since Sunday! The newly released compilation MYTHOLOGY will also be found in the album charts next week: The current chart trend records the collection of over 80 songs at number 3! Also back in the chart trend, at number 21, is the 2009 released compilation THE ULTIMATE BEE GEES, an elaborately designed CD/DVD with 40 superhits and 18 clips in the deluxe edition!
