UDO LINDENBERG crowns his phenomenal "Ich mach mein Ding" tour with top positions in DVD and album charts
He is now writing the next chapter of his spectacular success story: Udo Lindenberg is not only at the top of the music video charts with his DVD and Blu-ray, but the album "Ich mach mein Ding – Die Show" also debuted at number 3 on the official Media Control best list, which the master celebrated with an "endorphin explosion in the panic center": "From zero to three in five seconds. Joy!" Udo morse-coded to his friends via Twitter.
The spectacular super show "Ich mach mein Ding" was the most opulent and successful tour that Udo Lindenberg has ever conducted through the republic. He descended onto the stage in a huge Zeppelin and then delivered a good two and a half hours of proper panic rock. Udo Lindenberg has never been as great as he is today, and last year's tour is likely not only the highlight of his career but also the pinnacle of German rock and its stage presentation.
On the tour – recorded at two of the three sold-out concerts in the Cologne Lanxess Arena in front of 18,000 spectators each – Udo Lindenberg showcased his greatest treasures from forty years of German rock career: From the Honky Tonky Show to Ich lieb Dich überhaupt nicht mehr and Bis ans Ende der Welt to current hits like Ganz anders and Das Leben, he brought everything to the stage that has made him a cult figure of the republic. He was accompanied by sensational guests: Jan Delay, Clueso, and singers Nathalie Dorra, Josephin Busch, and Celina Bostic provided several duet highlights, and even Stefan Raab sat down at the drums for two songs.
