RIOT BRIGADE are celebrating their 10th anniversary with a new EP! Three brand new songs that, despite some lineup changes since the last album, have lost none of their power. One might even say that the band has stepped it up, as the 3 tracks are bursting with energy and fantastic, captivating HC-Punk melodies.
Lyrically, the 5 remain on track as well. "Political, critical, RIOT BRIGADE" could be the campaign slogan for this EP. However, they again steer clear of the usual scene clichés. Gentrification, a punk/HC scene that lacks self-reflection, and colonialism are the overarching themes. These are definitely lyrics worth the paper they are printed on.
The EP will be released on January 25, 2013, as a limited 7" and digital download. Just in time for the "10 Years RIOT BRIGADE" festival in Herrenberg on January 26. Vinyl is limited to 300 copies! Pre-order now!
