What do you associate with the name HANCOX? If you haven't spent the last 20 years in caves, it probably rings a bell now.
But that's not all. Because HANCOX is also the new solo project of the singer. The artist, who has been living in California, has long been toying with the idea of integrating other influences into his music, and in 2010 it finally happened: Pip launched HANCOX.
The American lineup of his band “Guana Batz” and the dedication and energy of the native Englishman were the ideal foundation for this explosive endeavor. For two years now, Pip has been working with his band on a unique blend that combines elements of punk rock, emotional punk, and other styles of rock music, without forgetting the roots of psychobilly greatness.
The music is driven by Pip's voice and Jonny Bowler's bass lines, perfectly complemented by Gino Meregilliano on guitar and Alex Pappas on drums.
An explosive interplay of rock, Southern Californian influences, and old-school psychobilly makes the solo project HANCOX, whose debut album will be released this year by I SOLD MY SOUL MEDIA, a groundbreaking new release already.
