Kim Baxter: Video for Devil On My Side

Together with Kathy Foster (The Thermals) and Jen Sbragia (The Softies), Kim Baxter founded the All Girl Summer Fun Band in 1998 in Portland, OR, which released their catchy indie pop on K Records. While the All Girl Summer Fun Band is currently taking a break, Kim Baxter has written new songs and recorded a solo album. Although her debut will not be released until spring 2013 as a vinyl release on the Bielefeld label Expect Candy (distributed by Cargo Records), there is already a video for one of the songs from "The Tale of Me and You". The eight-minute clip for "Devil On My Side" wraps Kim and her band’s performance in a small storyline titled "The Audition" - conceived and executed by her husband Chris Flanagan, drummer of the now-defunct emocore band Life At These Speeds.
