With their new album "HBLX", H-Blockx have packed a fireworks display of pop songs, rock ballads, funk beats, and electro disco hits, which, together with the H-Blockx classics, guarantee a top-notch set.
Just in time for autumn, they are releasing the second single from "HBLX" on September 21: "Love Can´t Say" – a ballad that invites you to chill and feel good.
It’s no coincidence that some of the new tracks remind listeners of the early Red Hot Chili Peppers, as the Californian funk rockers played a crucial role in the formation of H-Blockx. Guitarist Tim "Tinte" Humpe recalls: "It was May 28, 1988, the Red Hot Chili Peppers played at the Odeon in Münster in front of 300 people. That was the greatest! I was speechless!" Shortly thereafter, H-Blockx was formed.
Recently, the band filmed the video for the single on Rügen with director Carina Steinmetz, showcasing a romantic love vacation story in refreshing images.
