SLAVERY,
consists of five young musicians from ULM who bring fresh air to the Power Metal scene.
Under the title "Lost Reality", their self-produced and distributed EP was released at the end of 2009, laying the foundation for the current debut album "Dawn of Mankind" (SAR 013-2).
Under the direction of "Godi" Hildmann, a melodically energetic album with roots in 80s metal was created at MUSICFLASH in Berlin.
Without taking away the drive from the straight rock structures, the music is characterized by progressive guitar parts and a slightly melancholic vocal style, which gives the music a unique atmosphere.
With an unusual CD cover for metal, the band also makes it clear that SLAVERY wants to be understood as a more contemporary variant of the classic metal bands that have influenced this young band, both lyrically and thematically. Thus, the band presents an ambitious album with 8 songs that is a lot of fun in its fresh and modern metal zest.
