Welcome to Kielifornia! What the beaches of Long Beach are for the USA, the
Kiel Fjord is for Germany: the bubbling pulse of the surf scene and
the epicenter of the freshest Ska-Punk since Sublime exists!
TEQUILA & THE SUNRISE GANG took almost ten years since the band's formation
to release an album called "Intoaction" that celebrates an unprecedented mix:
danceable Ska meets powerful Punk rock - in between, influences of Gypsy, Dub, and Reggae
emerge in the songs of the multi-instrumental 9-member orchestra.
TEQUILA & THE SUNRISE GANG earned their stripes on support shows
and tours with Flogging Molly, Panteón Rococó, Mad Caddies, and Babylon
Circus. Now the time has come to step out of their slipstream and
start their own summer dance party!
The album "Intoaction" will be released on 21.09.2012 (digital on 03.08.2012)
on Uncle M Music (Hot Water Music, Radio Havanna, Nothington, Dispatch,
Chuck Ragan). At the same time, the ecstatic live monsters will embark on a
nationwide tour. The North is shaking. And from autumn onwards,
its waves will reach far beyond the borders of Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg.
