After a long touring break - apart from a single show in December 2011, there were no club excursions for over 1.5 years - the upcoming autumn wind will carry the Kiel hardcore/punk institution SMOKE BLOW across the republic one last time.
Last winter, the sextet announced that under the banner of SMOKE BLOW, they would no longer be recording new albums and wanted to say goodbye to amateur status after a final tour for their 15th band anniversary. It is stated on the band's website that they might consider individual performances based on gut feelings afterwards.
This year's "Last Tour On Earth" is consequently likely to be the last opportunity in many places to indulge in the unique live charm of the North German ship. And no one should seriously want to miss that, because: "SMOKE BLOW have the energy of an exploding tanker and know exactly how to spell R.O.C.K." So it was once written, and so it will forever be.
