“Miracle” is the first video from the upcoming TIMID TIGER album “The Streets Are Black,” which will be released on March 30, 2012.
“The Streets Are Black” sounds more mature and grown-up, yet also more motivated and lively than anything we’ve heard from TIMID TIGER so far. Because where there is shadow, there must also be light somewhere, and that can be found in 12 songs that showcase enormous confidence and the freedom to experiment. What TIMID TIGER has gained is greater musicality and more stylistic freedom in songwriting, while what they have retained is their positive core feeling, which they have conveyed so credibly since their first album. On “The Streets Are Black,” you’ll find extremely catchy bass lines that give the other instruments more space and air to develop. The beats are dirtier and more defined, which significantly benefits the power of the music. This is also a result of the production by drummer Steffen 'Steddy' Wilmking, who was able to infuse his love for hip-hop into the project. The man knows exactly what he’s doing, having recently produced the Casper album, which shot to number 1 on the album charts and earned him the “1Live Krone” award.
