The debut EP "Riots & Golden Anchors" by the five-member hardcore combo Shine Bright is now available for purchase just in time for the holidays. The EP is a complete DIY result that you can play on your home system for four euros. A lot of work has been invested, and the songs that the band members worked on together reflect what has been experienced, processed, and seen. The lyrics deal with feelings and political themes. Stefan (28), Markus (23), Falk (27), Arne (24), and Jacob (25) all study in Oldenburg, meet there, and found SHINE BRIGHT in January 2011. They are primarily oriented towards modern hardcore in the style of Verse, La Dispute, and Touché Amoré. This means: a lot of melody interrupted by strong rhythms and occasionally unconventional outbursts with a few effects. The goal is to sound as straight as possible while still being light and open. In the studio, the sound is mixed accordingly raw. Fat when it counts.
