SCREAM: Washington DC Punk/HC Legends Back on Tour

SCREAM
- DC punk legend (Dave Grohl's first band) finally back on tour
- eight concerts in German-speaking countries

Scream was formed in 1981 and quickly became a cornerstone of the emerging punk and hardcore scene in Washington DC alongside bands like Minor Threat and Government Issue. A total of 4 albums on Dischord solidify this status.
Shortly thereafter, 17-year-old drummer Dave Grohl joined the band for four years, during which the quintet recorded the recently released 10" vinyl "Complete Control Session" in the spring of 2011 at his "Studio 606" simultaneously to their reunion.

After their breakup in 1993, the former members of Scream joined other groundbreaking bands like Goatsnake, Sun O))), Nirvana, Foo Fighters, and Wool. The musicians repeatedly collaborate on joint projects, leading to increasing rumors of a possible reunion. On February 7, 2011, Scream opened as the supporting act for the Foo Fighters as they presented their album "Wasting Light" live for the first time in front of an audience. With their comeback, the band picks up where their last studio album "Fumble" from 1993 left off.

About 30 years after their formation, Scream is going on a European tour for their fans who have been waiting all these years for the band's return. The well-known lineup includes the Stahl brothers (Peter & Franz), bassist Skeeter Thompson, and drummer Kent Wax. New on guitar is Clint Walsh from the alternative rock band Tweaker.
