SMOKE BLOW Legacy Box - Pre-Sale Start!
At the end of December 2011, SMOKE BLOW will slowly but surely - and well-prepared - transition into the fifteenth year of their existence. The legendary hardcore/punk sextet is determined to spare no expense or effort to treat us sustainably. Therefore, the Kiel rock steamship is currently working in close cooperation with Concrete Jungle Records on an elaborately designed wooden box, which - strictly limited - will include some beautiful collector's items (exclusive screen-printed posters, back patches, 7" single) and, above all, the first five albums of their career on vinyl. To keep things interesting, all albums will receive special artwork and will be pressed on colored 180g vinyl. A twenty-four-page accompanying book in LP format will contain numerous anecdotes about the creation of the respective works and never-before-seen, partly private photos. Nothing runs smoothly at SB when it comes to celebrations without a very special shine.
To reiterate: Yes, this really means that the long out-of-print records "777 Bloodrock", "Punkadelic - The Godfather Of Soul", "German Angst", and "Dark Angel" will finally be available again for a short period (namely exactly as long as the limited stock lasts). Furthermore, the legendary debut album "Smoke's A Blowin' Black As Coal" will also be allowed to make its rounds for the first time at 33 rpm (just the track "Satan's Highway" is sure to bring tears of joy to many!).
The pre-sale is exclusively available through the Concrete Jungle website (www.concretejunglerecords.com/smokeblow) and has already started!
Attention: Those who act quickly and order by 31.10.2011 will receive a luxurious early bird discount!
You can experience all the SMOKE BLOW hits live and up close at the only club show of 2011, on 16.12. in Hamburg (Fabrik). Tickets are available at nearly all known pre-sale locations.
As recently announced, the friendly folks from FINDUS (www.findusmusik.de) will musically kick off the evening. We are pleased, and hopefully, you are too.
