SKULL FIST from Canada are the sensation of 2011! Those who thought there was no real, traditional heavy metal left must, no, have to check out SKULL FIST's EP "Heavier Than Metal". It's been a long time since anyone has heard such brilliant, catchy, and authentic metal songs as from Jackie Slaughter & Co. Tracks like "Head of the Pack", "Get fisted" or "No False Metal" could not be more clichéd at first glance, but in the case of SKULL FIST, it's simply authentic and super cool! "No False Metal" is a f*cking anthem, it doesn't get better than this!
On the tour in April 2011 with Bullet and Enforcer, SKULL FIST made a huge impact. After four days, 200 copies of the CD EP were already sold, and the merch had to be restocked, often selling more than the headliners themselves. At the Keep It True Festival, it felt like 90% were wearing a SKULL FIST shirt. Mind you, the band didn't even perform there this year… SKULL FIST have long been cult. An underground phenomenon that is now spreading like a virus throughout the entire heavy metal scene!
SKULL FIST impresses with a mix of tradition (Judas Priest), hit factor (Iron Maiden), coolness, and carefree attitude (Bullet, Enforcer). A sympathetic, young, and rising band that sees heavy metal as a way of life and would give their last shirt for it. This crew owns the future!
In December 2010, SKULL FIST won the Rock The Nation Award, and with the EP "Heavier Than Metal", the tour played in April with BULLET/ENFORCER, the new album "Head öf the Pack", and the upcoming Power Of Metal Tour with SABATON, they are on the verge of a big career! Singer Jackie Slaughter is a positively crazy guy in the truest sense, a real frontman and a true rockstar. SKULL FIST will – once again - be the shooting stars of this tour, that's for sure!
A positively crazy band with a charismatic singer, cool image, awesome artwork, and even better songs! Get ready for SKULL FIST, you've never seen anything like it before! Their debut album "Head öf the Pack" will be released on August 26 via NoiseArt Records, and then they will head straight to the Power of Metal Tour with Sabaton, Grave Digger, and Powerwolf!
