ERASURE - New Studio Album - Tomorrow's World - Release Date: 30.09.11 [Mute] and Tour Dates

ERASURE WITH NEW STUDIO ALBUM AND TOUR
TOMORROW’S WORLD – Release Date 30.09.2011 (MUTE/GOODTOGO)

From LADY GAGA to METRONOMY, the (retro-)futuristic sound that ERASURE has helped shape over their more than 25-year career seems to be more present than ever.
Vince Clarke and Andy Bell have enriched the music history of the 80s, 90s, and 00s with timeless pop anthems like “A Little Respect“, “Sometimes“, “Victim Of Love“, “Ship Of Fools“, “Chains Of Love“, “The Circus“, and “Breathe” among a thousand others. In their English homeland, ERASURE reached the number 1 position five times in a row with albums like “The Innocents”, “Wild!”, “Chorus”, and the kickoff of the worldwide ABBA revival “Abba-esque”.

Tomorrow’s World is ERASURE's first studio album in over four years. The album was produced by one of the most influential modern dance producers, FRANKMUSIK, who has recently worked with LADY GAGA, PET SHOP BOYS, and ELLIE GOULDING, and mixed by Rob Orton.

The album was written by Vince and Andy in New York, London, and Vince Clarke's Cabin Studio in Maine, and was recorded between January and June 2011 in Los Angeles, London, and Maine, where Vince gave the tracks their final touches with his impressive analog synthesizer collection. The result is an album that sounds both contemporary and classic.

To coincide with the album's release, ERASURE is now announcing a 16-day UK tour, as well as later US dates. Tour dates in our latitudes and longitudes will follow later.
