What a lineup, what a festival.
In the cultural scene of Düsseldorf, something is really happening. Because otherwise, it would hardly be imaginable to organize a festival of this magnitude.
On July 23, 2011, there will be a full dose of punk rock.
Alongside the big names of the scene, the Düsseldorf underground is also joining in, which I find absolutely noteworthy. Opportunities to share the stage with well-known bands are not that common these days.
With Slime, Rantanplan, Montreal, Rastaknast, and Radio Havanna, a first-class billing has been put together, which is then rounded off by the Düsseldorf bands Jolly Roger, Cube Casino, and Mighty Mammut Movement.
As a special treat, there are the US boys from Strong Out.
Additionally, there will be local support that must qualify through a specially organized band contest.
We will, of course, be on site and report on it.
