MIDDLE FINGER SALUTE on May 31, 2011 at the stylish RAMONES MUSEUM.


MIDDLE FINGER SALUTE are four young guys from Wilpshire/Blackburn in the northwest of England who play classic UK punk rock.
Their story begins in 2005 when the four teens put their heads together and form the smartest UK boy band the country has ever produced. Even Paul McCartney turned pale with envy...

Very quickly, MIDDLE FINGER SALUTE moves to the big stages to support bands like Rancid, Misfits, Buzzcocks, Stiff Little Fingers, The Adicts, Cock Sparrer, and many others locally.
Tim Armstrong (Rancid) notices the guys at a show and invites MIDDLE FINGER SALUTE to the USA in the summer of 2009 to play on the Vans Warped Tour.
This is to date the highlight of a young career that also includes the Rebellion Festivals 2006-2009 in Blackpool, the offshoots in Amsterdam and Vienna, as well as the Punk & Disorderly Festival in 2009.
UK tours with The Briggs, The Blackout, Angelic Upstarts, Deadline, and The Vibrators, along with three self-released EPs (online & iTunes), complete their past.

In 2010, MIDDLE FINGER SALUTE fully convinces at SXSW and is repeatedly part of the lineup for the Vans Warped Tour in the USA in July of that year. In 2011, the next big step follows for the British quartet: the debut album, featuring guest appearances from Justin Sane (Anti-Flag) and Mike McColgan (Street Dogs), is released in early May via Cargo, followed by a solo tour.
