THE SORROW - new video for "Farewells"!
Since 14.05.2011, the new music video "Farewells" by the largest Austrian metal band THE SORROW has been online and it already has over 6,500 views!
"Farewells" is the second video from the successful album "The Sorrow" which was released last October. The first video "Crossing Jordan" has already garnered over 100,000 views on YouTube.
The clip was directed by Manuel Bauer at the University of Arts in Linz. A total of 3 days were spent working on the elaborate video. Countless light bulbs, grasshoppers, beetles, and syringes were on set.
"Thematically, it’s about farewell and loss," says THE SORROW guitarist Andreas Mäser. "An older medical couple tries to keep each other alive. They experiment with insects and have found an extract that prolongs life. Unfortunately, only one of them can remain alive at a time. Thus, one is always alone, and eternity doesn’t help him either."
