What can one expect from a band from a county in the heart of England, whose musical heroes include Prince, Mercury, The Cure, David Bowie, Foals, Adam Ant, OMD, and Bloc Party, and whose electronic indie pop has a dark touch? Right! A live show that is as atmospheric and energetic as only a few artists can achieve. I AM IN LOVE pursue the noble goal of transforming people into enthusiastic fans through their shows and sending each concertgoer off with a proper kick into the rest of the week. The young, ambitious band from Leicestershire has set high goals for 2011. The four guys and the girl spent a lot of time in cramped rehearsal rooms honing new songs and perfecting existing ones for studio recordings. This requires ambition, energy, and of course – as it should be – love! The debut album "Of Regard And Affection" will be released on 27.05.2011 on VelocitySounds Rec. distributed by Rough Trade. The album will be accompanied by a tour through Europe and America. After isolating themselves from the outside world for months, the five members of I Am In Love are even more excited about touring and are as energized as Duracell bunnies. One can look forward to the new act on the English indie scene.
