Dear readers, I hope the writer's local patriotism will be forgiven a little, but at the moment, Düsseldorf bands of all colors are looking for platforms to gain a bit of attention to highlight their situation in Düsseldorf, particularly regarding the distribution of budgets and, of course, the rehearsal space situation.
Does the Düsseldorf music scene need to be awakened?
Nonsense, it is more active than ever before, and there are plenty of examples to prove it, as artists and bands are already working together like small families.
Just take, for example, the last weekend in April with the festival at Zakk by Daily Peace Project, Pipeline Club, and The Plot.
There are also plenty of bands that are working their butts off week after week to organize events, throw parties, and arrange concerts.
But where is the support from the city of Düsseldorf? It somehow doesn't exist.
Therefore, we at Rockzentrale Düsseldorf say… Do something!!! So that there continues to be a subcultural scene that every city needs.
We support the following action with passion and commitment
“Affordable rehearsal spaces and performance opportunities without regulatory office guarantees. During the week, there is plenty of press in the city, and Elbers is currently quite eager to play the role of a major music promoter. So let's show that we are here and not willing to settle for short-term engagement!
Show Elbers where the guitar hangs! FOR THE MUSIC SCENE IN DÜSSELDORF!
