NEW METALBILLY ACT FROM GERMANY!
GUNS OF MOROPOLIS (www.moropolis.com) have stealthily slipped past all the majors, entered into a pact with the professional promoters from Brainstorm Music Marketing AG (including management of ACCEPT, DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER, ...) and signed an album deal with the highly motivated startup label Recent Records. For the album production, the Munich rock producer Corni Bartels has been brought on board. The work on the promising debut album "In Dynamite We Trust" has now been completed at the Munich Weltraumstudio. The album's title already indicates that musically it will be an energetic forward push. GUNS OF MOROPOLIS combine the good old rock'n'roll with modern metallic guitar riffs and have created an explosive masterpiece with their 12-track debut "In Dynamite We Trust," which will be released on April 29, 2011.
The three musicians are not newcomers to the music business. These gentlemen have already played several hundred shows in various previous band configurations. With GUNS OF MOROPOLIS, it's all about live music, and live performance is the top priority.
The GUNS take it very seriously and don't waste any time, as evidenced by the first shows that will be announced soon. GUNS OF MOROPOLIS are already confirmed for support shows and festivals alongside Motörhead, Uriah Heep, and Amon Amarth. The south is heating up, and GUNS OF MOROPOLIS will make their presence known!
