VESSELS – NEW RELEASE ON 11.03.2011 ON MAKE MY DAY RECORDS/VIDEOCLIPS

When you listen to "Helioscope", the second album by the UK band VESSELS, it’s no surprise that they were invited by Oceansize to open all the concerts of last year's European tour. VESSELS' consistently organic mix of progressive sounds, which boldly overcomes barriers and blends styles, is not only an acoustic delight live but also visually impressive, as the musicians seamlessly switch or exchange instruments. Unlike their debut, however, the focus is not on the sound experience but on the song. The wonderful production by John Congleton (Explosions in the Sky, This Will Destroy You, Modest Mouse) further rounds out the image of an exceptionally multifaceted band.

The album will be released on 11.03 as a digipack, double LP, and download.

In May, the band will go on a tour in Germany.
