The Danish rockers THE DREAMS are releasing their new album "Revolt" today, July 16, 2010, via Ferryhouse / Warner.
THE DREAMS, who may not yet be known to everyone here, have already made quite a name for themselves in their home country. Their debut album "Den Nye By" reached number 5 on the Danish album charts, and the guys also occupied the top three spots on the most important Danish music TV channel – Boogie TV – with three videos. The video for "Backstabber" held the number 1 position for over 8 weeks, setting a new Danish record.
The album remained in the top 100 charts in Denmark for over 35 weeks. In the video year-end charts of 2008, THE DREAMS took the 1st and 2nd places ahead of acts like Tokio Hotel, Coldplay, Madonna, Justin Timberlake, and many others… no artist, neither national nor international, has achieved this before.
The current album "Revolt" reached #3 and the single "Revolt" #1 on the Danish charts.
This was the perfect starting point to further promote this album. These successes are now responsible for the current silver disc being launched in 18 countries.
Additionally, THE DREAMS have also been successfully included in the MTV Rockzone voting here, quickly advancing to 2nd place and still remaining in the top 10.
Here is the video, which is also featured on MTV Rockzone:
