On Monday, January 31, 3sat will air the documentary "Helldorado - A Punk Chronicle" by Swiss filmmaker Daniel Schweizer (Yes, that's really his name) from the year 2002. With his film, Schweizer continues his work on young people who are marginalized and excluded by society. Young punks are followed on the streets from Geneva to Zurich.

They are between 15 and 24 years old and have dropped out of school, work, and their relationships with their families. They live in squatted houses, in passages, and in the squares of the Cornavin and Stadelhofen train stations. They walk in groups through the streets of Geneva and Zurich, begging to survive. Most of the punks did not choose their outsider role out of conviction: they have mostly fallen out of the social safety net due to difficulties at home or in school.
