Metalfest Loreley: More Bands Confirmed

From June 20 to 22, it’s finally happening again – the gates to METALFEST LORELEY will open, and over 30 handpicked bands will rock the festival across three days, representing the greatest, most exciting, and heaviest the genre has to offer! Bands like SLAYER, SUBWAY TO SALLY, ACCEPT, CHILDREN OF BODOM, TESTAMENT, SAXON, DORO, DOWN, and many more will rock the Rhine Valley! Now, the following additional top-notch bands have been confirmed for the open air:

SIX FEET UNDER
When chief growler Chris Barnes founded SIX FEET UNDER in 1993, it was initially intended as a CANNIBAL CORPSE side project – until Barnes finally left the latter in 1995 to dedicate himself to groovy Death’n’Roll! The Florida outfit has since released some of the most brutal death metal (e.g., "True Carnage"), as well as cover albums with an AC/DC twist ("Graveyard Classics") – live, they deliver a killer mix, and just like their last album in 2012, "Undead"!

TURISAS
Named after a war god, the Finns of TURISAS have one main goal: to charge into battle armed with plenty of Viking metal anthems! With albums like "Battle Metal" (2004) and "Stand Up and Fight" (2011), they have taken fans by storm, and their energetic live shows (always with thick war paint) are truly unmatched. The gentlemen are currently putting the finishing touches on their new album.

KISSIN DYNAMITE
Exciting, dangerous, and explosive - that’s Kissin' Dynamite. The Swabian sleaze metal commando lives up to its name, as Kissin' Dynamite is more than just a band; it’s a way of life. And this feeling is conveyed by the five rock stars with every second they spend on stage. What fans love about the group that emerged in 2006 are attributes that promise entertainment at the highest level. Thanks to a great 80s look, immense playing joy, impeccable tightness, and electrifying stage acting, one is visually and acoustically overwhelmed.
