On July 27, it will be fun in Klingendorf near Rostock. The Force Attack Festival was supposed to take place there. All the attendees will have silly faces when they realize that the music is playing somewhere else, namely in Berlin, more specifically at the Arena Treptow. The organizer Imre announced this at least a whole week before the spectacle began. The reasons seem to be of a financial nature or due to excessive consumption of hard drugs. Here is his brief statement:
Berlin, Berlin - we are going to Berlin! The Force Attack is making a guest appearance!! Off to the Arena in Treptow. http://www.arena-berlin.de/ Same date. The trendy districts of Kreuzberg, Neukölln, and Friedrichshain are just a stone's throw away. Unfortunately without camping, but such luxury is not needed in Berlin. The news can already be spread across all channels! Or MUST!
In 2013, however, we will return to the Baltic Sea coast! After all financial resources were washed away within hours in 2011, there simply wasn't any money to put together a proper open-air event.
We are all heading to the punk stronghold and making the best of it! As always! And we will be by the water there too, the beautiful Spree waterfront has its charms. And the Berlin crowd can still accommodate guests!
When our webmasters are awake and sober again, it will also be posted on the homepage! New: there will also be day tickets for 20 euros! And the KOT films will be shown after the last concert.
Whoever falls asleep will be painted...
Life is too short for boredom! Ahoi! Imre
See No punk meeting this year in Rostock
Update 20.07: Today, the operators of the Arena in Treptow were also able to speak out. And they seem to know nothing about the Force Attack taking place in their premises. Thus, it is now uncertain whether a venue can still be found in such a short time or if the whole thing has to be completely canceled. Ticket holders should definitely keep a close eye on the Facebook page of the festival.
