A musical year in review is offered by Roadrunner Records in the form of a free downloadable sampler. Included are Korn, Machine Head, and Dream Theater, among others. Unfortunately, the download is only available through Facebook and only if you disable the secure browsing option under "Account Settings -> Security -> Disable Secure Browsing". So everyone has to decide for themselves whether this collection is really worth it. Here is the news entry at Roadrunner: http://www.roadrunnerrecords.de/page/News?news_id=116400
