Henry Rollins is launching his own label. Under the name "District Line," the singer aims to promote previously unknown bands from Washington DC. Two releases are already available featuring Trouble Funk and a sampler. The label is set to belong to Rollins Publishing 2.13.61.
In another respect, the former Black Flag frontman is making headlines. According to Billboard, he plans to hold concerts for US troops in the Persian Gulf later this month. Last December, he performed for soldiers in Afghanistan and Qatar. One might form their own opinion about the reasons that drive him to perform specifically for the torturous warriors of Bush.
