According to an Indymedia post, a larger police presence ended the "Rote-Zora-Tage" and an unregistered punk concert held as part of it "violently" over the weekend in Marl. According to the post and local Antifa, many punks were injured due to the use of pepper spray and beatings. A report from the local press, also posted there, stated that around 120 young people attended the concert. The police claim they were attacked, while concertgoers state that the police provoked the conflict and then "randomly beat people." There were many arrests and identity checks. Dramatic scenes also unfolded at and in front of the police station.
