Dear musicians, dear band managers
You have the opportunity to perform with your band at the Gogenkrog Open-Air - right on the Baltic Sea in Neustadt in Holstein. The complete band catering and accommodation will be covered by us for the entire weekend (August 28 to 30, 2009)!
About the Open-Air in general:
Since 2002, the Gogenkrog Open-Air has primarily supported young and regional up-and-coming bands and artists. We offer them the chance to present their musical talent to a wide audience through their performance. Furthermore, the entire Open-Air is organized purely on a voluntary basis and is intended to be accessible to every citizen, whether young, old, rich, or poor. Therefore, we are also following the motto "free and outdoors" this year, to provide EVERYONE with the unique experience of experiencing live, handmade music on-site.
Due to the increased interest from regional bands, we launched the band voting for the first time in 2007 to give all bands the opportunity to perform with us in Neustadt - at "Generation Rock".
The two winners from 2007 and 2008 (Knott / Parforce) were very impressed by the Open-Air, the family atmosphere, the "professionalism," and the voluntary commitment of the mostly young helpers.
Now we are offering you!
Apply for this year's band voting 2009 and try to secure a slot in the lineup for this year's Open-Air. Additionally, we invite the entire winning band for the weekend from August 28 to 30, which means accommodation and catering will be free for you during the best time of the year right on the Baltic Sea.
