Trent Reznor repeatedly shows that he does not want to conform to the conventional ways of the music industry. For example, in early 2008, he released his album Ghosts I-IV not only as an MP3 but also in lossless FLAC format under a Creative Commons License. Now, a brief message on his homepage points to three impressive torrent downloads totaling 400 GB. These contain video recordings of three concerts by his band Nine Inch Nails in HD format.

Trent Reznor "The internet is full of surprises these days," Reznor begins his brief statement. "I was contacted by a mysterious and sinister group of state enemies who somehow managed to film an enormous amount (400 gigabytes!) of raw, unedited HD footage from three different live shows of our Lights in the Sky Tour. The security must have been asleep at these shows because the quality of the material is excellent. If any of you find a LINK to the material, I'm sure some talented fans can create something cool out of it. Oh, by the way, you didn't hear this from me.
