There are many comics. Comics about superheroes, antiheroes, and Japanese action heroes. Despite their differences, they all have one thing in common – the relatively high price. Karl Nagel is countering this trend with his new comic series "Die! Oder Wir," which will be available for 99 cents per issue starting in early 2009. To make this work, paid advertisements will be printed on the flimsy newsprint. Additionally, one can buy their participation in a comic. This is intended to be useful for bands, who can then sell the little booklet at concerts.
There will soon be a free opportunity to get drawn on the homepage for the comic. There, everyone can create their own profile, and with a bit of luck, a new star in the comic sky will be born. A preliminary zero issue, essentially a trailer in drawn form, is already available for download at http://www.tikoloshe.de/. Alongside a short comic, the idea behind the project is explained in more detail. And for those who do not want to give their email address, they can visit http://trash-mail.com/ first.
