Unerhört! is the name of the Hamburg Music Film Festival, which aims to create a forum from September 4 to 7 for international music films that have not been shown or are rarely shown in Germany. This year, the focus is on current documentaries. These will participate in a competition that is endowed with the Ferryhouse Prize for the best music documentary. Outstanding examples of music films from before 2000 complete the program. Visitors can determine the recipient of a audience award with their vote, and the public award ceremony with a party will take place on September 7, 2008.
The complete program can be viewed at www.unerhoert-filmfest.de . With "Global Metal" and "Joy Division", alongside a contribution about folk music on the way to Africa, several exciting films have already been announced.
