Commercialism sucks. Dragging an empty beer barrel around with a few drunk buddies on Father's Day is just as bad. So what to do if you don't want to ruin your political career on May 1st due to an accidentally slipped cobblestone? One option, especially for the long-haired faction, would be the Fuck The Commerce Festival from April 30 to May 3. True to the motto, pure underground bands are allowed to give their best here. Hopefully, the weather god will do the same, as the festival grounds "Altes Lager" between Jüterbog and Treuenbrietzen, south of Berlin, are not covered. Campsites are available and included in the admission price. Anyone traveling from afar who hasn't secured their tickets yet should arrive as early as possible to avoid standing in front of closed gates at the end.
