Band info
In early 2005, two people named Hertel and Buche met a drummer named Lars who was playing in a student band project. One concert evening at EXIL Eberswalde, Buche asked Lars if he would be interested in making great punk music, to which Lars replied, SURE, why not. Then we met directly the following Monday for our first rehearsal, where Chili also showed up to sing for us. Now we could get started. Without a band name, we launched our punk rock band project. Four weeks passed until the first rehearsal open air took place in the courtyard of Exil, where we were also supposed to play. So we sat down with a cup of beer and brainstormed a bunch of names, but we stuck with one, and that name was KLARTEXT!!! So we played at the first rehearsal open air and it was a success. More performances followed at: EXIL Eberswalde with TowerBlocks, Oxo86, Telekoma, COR, DIE ROTEN RATTEN, OHL, RAWSIDE, LOS KRACHOS, P.U.K.
and many more awesome concerts! Unfortunately, not always the same people were in the band KLARTEXT after the performance at JAZ in Rostock in 2006. We parted ways with our singer Chili for internal band reasons and continued as a trio for a while. In 2007, Danny and Wuschel joined us to play guitar, and more performances followed. And to conclude, KLARTEXT will always exist!
