In Indonesia, ten people were trampled to death during a mass panic at a punk concert. As the police reported on Sunday, several other mostly young attendees were also injured. According to doctors, many of the injured had to be treated for breathing problems. The concert hall was hopelessly overcrowded, making it difficult for attendees to breathe, according to reports from those affected. For this reason, during the performance of a local punk rock band in Bandung on the island of Java on Saturday evening, many attendees rushed to the exits while hundreds of others were pushing to get inside. Panic ensued, leading to the deadly crush, said a police spokesperson.
