ERECTION from Regensburg stand for straightforward Punk'n'Roll - With the single "Ich will mehr" (release date 09.01.26), the band led by punk queen Julia sent out a new signal last week: With the second album "Plug It In", which will be released on 08.05.26, they are going on a big tour in 2026.
Numerous headline shows for the fall of the year have been newly announced. Tickets are available now. There are two special release shows on May 14 and 15 in Düsseldorf and Regensburg.
ERECTION delivers energetic power-punk with attitude, humor, and a clear edge. The band combines gritty punk rock with feminist strength, self-determination, and an unstoppable drive – in short: Power-Punk'n'Roll as it should sound! VOM RITCHIE from Die Toten Hosen is on drums for the band's new songs.
The German-language song "Ich Will Mehr" thematically opens the spectrum of the album: It tells of the pressure of a functioning everyday life and the desire to break out. It is a song about overload – but also about courage: The realization that one wants more from life runs like a red thread through the entire work.
